Instead, embrace the perfect month for those who relish in the comforts of solitude, cozying up indoors, and avoiding the burdens of social obligations. As we approach this so-called worst day of the year, where do our emotions lie? Personally, I find myself confronted with a harsh reality: my tax bill has been grossly underestimated, a consequence of my indulgence in wishful thinking. Furthermore, my body and soul adamantly resist emerging from the warmth of my bed before 8am, considering it the dead of night. In response to these trials, I encounter an absurd “enjoy seasonal specials” exhibit at the supermarket, consisting solely of a mound of swedes. Nevertheless, amidst these setbacks…
