According to the findings of the Household Consumption Expenditure Survey for 2022-23, the mean monthly per capita expenditure (MPCE) has been determined through a comprehensive examination of data obtained from a vast sample size. This study encompassed data from a substantial pool of households, totaling more than 261,000 in number. Among these households, a significant proportion consisted of over 155,000 residing in rural regions, while the remaining portion comprised over 106,000 households situated in urban locales.
