The remote-controlled robot iCub3 impressively embodies a human over long distances as well. In experiments, a researcher located 300 kilometers away was able to see, hear, and perceive haptic sensations through the assistance of this bipedal machine. Simultaneously, the humanoid robot replicated the researcher’s movements, facial expressions, and voice.
