In Paramaribo’s Academic Hospital in Suriname on February 20, 2024, U.S. Air Force reservist Lt. Col. Jesse Wells, also an emergency room physician with the 349th Medical Squadron, engaged in a knowledge exchange session. This marks the second phase of the Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team mission in the area. During this initiative, American and allied medical experts join forces to enhance their proficiency by engaging in shared training and educational activities, all aimed at enhancing the quality of patient care. The event witnessed Lt. Col. Wells sketching a diagram as part of the collaborative effort.
