On Monday, not only primary school students but also sixteen preschoolers embarked on their summer school journey at Boom Park Elementary School. Over the course of two weeks, they will immerse themselves in a language-intensive program interspersed with sports and games. This year, eight municipalities in the Antwerp province have extended their summer schools to include children as young as five years old, setting a pioneering example for the rest of Belgium. The province of Antwerp is taking the lead in this initiative, recognizing the value of early education and language development for preschoolers.
