Estonian security services have apprehended a Russian professor on suspicion of espionage. The Russian citizen was arrested on January 3rd and will remain in pretrial detention for two months, as announced by the public prosecutor’s office of the Eastern European country on Tuesday. The academic is alleged to have conducted and facilitated espionage activities against Estonia.
